Phill Dunn is a masterful artist, who work's predominately with oil, pencil on board, canvas paper, and wood. He creates mesmerising wildlife portraits that transcend the boundaries of the classic genre. His lifelong passion for bird portraiture shines through in his work, as he expertly captures the intricate features and detail with such precision, people mistakenly think they are photographs.

He has spent many hours in the bush, both exploring and working, and expresses how this environment is his 'happy place' making him at one with nature and the wildlife.

Through his art he wants to bring awareness to the treasures that belong to Aotearoa, New Zealand, in the hope that we preserve for not only us, but our future generations, before it is too late.
